College students from year one organized a book donation for No.2 High School Attached to Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Fourth Division on Xueyuanlu Campus on 10 June, 12 June and 13 June, 2016.

24 students volunteered in this event and helped to collect 186 various types of reading materials and notebooks.

The volunteers made the most of the university resource and facilities, held a welcome reception in the lobby of accommodation building twice a day, registering and classifying the donated books.

Through the contact with the No.2 High School by the university’s volunteers who are supporting the education in Xinjiang, all donated books were posted to the School on 16 May. The School later received the books and held a donation ceremony on 13 June.
