At the invitation of the German Embassy in China, the students enrolled in 2014 from the Sino-German Law Institute visited the Embassy accompanied by Dean Prof. Xie Libin on the morning of 6 June, 2016.

The delegationwas welcomed by the Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Christophe Eick. Minister Eick first presented a speech on the Influence of Refugees Issues in the Near East on Germany. He analyzed the refugee problem’s influence on the German labour market and social safety.

Then during the Q&A section, the students raised questions about Germany’s academic system, tradition and culture, industry innovation and legal education. Minister Eick answered the questions in details. He also cared about the implementation situation of the exchange programs that the Sino-German Law Institute holds.

At the end of the talk, Minister Eick invited the students to attend the UEFA live game watching event to be held by the Embassy next week.
