The College of Comparative Law held its faculty meeting on the afternoon of 23 March, 2018.

Dean Gao Xiang moderated the meeting. Committee Party Secretary & Associate Dean Wang Fang, Associate Dean Bao Zenghua, Associate Dean Lin Lin, Associate Dean Xie Libin and all faculty members attended the meeting.

Associate Dean Lin Lin first reported the CUPL Committee’s Implementation Opinions on Enhancing and Regulating Postgraduate Students’ Supervisors’ Teaching and Ethics, and then analyzed and explained the University’ latest documents on teaching to the participants. Associate Dean Xie Libin then introduced the content of university policies on scientific research, and extended the College’s expectation on seeing more sound papers from the teaching faculty. Party Secretary Wang Fang also presented a report on postgraduate students’ employment and psychological health. She emphasized that the College supervisors should promote the communication with their students in both studying and lives. Later, Dean Gao Xiang briefed the funds for the University’s Double-First Plan Construction Program and suggested the teaching faculty to participate in the application for the program more actively.  

Party Secretary Wang Fang later moderated the College (Departmental) Reverse Cadres Selection and Recommendation Meeting. All participants took their votes through secret ballot strictly according to the University’s regulation.
