Hosted by the Sino-German Institute of Law of College of Comparative Law, the Institute of Constitution Law of School of Law of CUPL and co-organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the 6th Sino-German Constitution Forum was held in Beijing on 5 Sept, 2015. The theme of this years' conference was Rights Remedy and Guarantee.
Vice President of the China University of Political Science and Law Prof. Li Shuzhong and Representative from China Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Mr. Ren Kai presented remarks on the opening ceremony, which is moderated by Deputy Director of the Sino-German Law Institute Prof. Zhao Hong.
Experts and scholars from Chinese side included Prof. Li Yuanqi from Law School of People's University of China, Prof. Jiao Hongchang from Law School of China University of Political Science and Law, Prof. Mo Jiyuan from Institute of Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Prof. Zhu Mang from Koguan Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Prof. He Haibo from Law School of Tsinghua University. Dignitaries from German side included Judge the German Constitution Court Prof. Dr. Reinhard Gaier, Judge the Supreme Court Dr. Rhona Fetzer, and Prof. Dr. Astrid Wallrabenstein from University of Frankfurt.
The symposium focused on the constitutive guarantee of rights remedy, including three sessions judicial remedy and its organizational guarantee, judicial remedy and its procedural safeguard, and petition system as a tool of rights remedy.
