Dean of the College of Comparative Law & Director of the Health Law Research Center of CUPL Prof. Xie Zhiyong met with the Associate Dean of Washington University Law School Prof. Patricia Kuszler and its China program Consultant Mr. Ma Jitong on Xueyuanlu campus on the morning of 15 May, 2019. Deputy Director of CUPL’s Office of International Exchange and Cooperation Mr. Lyv Yong moderated the exchange meeting.

Xie Zhiyong first expressed warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the College and then gave a brief introduction on the College including structure of the teaching faculty, student training and international exchanges.

Later, the two parties shared opinions on current teaching and research achievement on health law in China and the US. They also exchanged ideas on the possibility that CUPL participates in Washington University’s latest franchise program Master of Jurisprudence on health law in collaboration with the National Health Commission of China.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation had a brief exchange with several postgraduate students supervised by Xie Zhiyong. They also provided the students with advice on further study in the US.
