Hosted by the Sino-German Institute of Law of College of Comparative Law, the Institute of Constitution Law of School of Law of CUPL and co-organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the 7th Sino-GermanConstitution Forum was held in Beijing on 10 Sept, 2016.
Vice President of the China University of Political Science and Law Prof. Li Shuzhong and Representative from China Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Mr. Christoph Pohlmann presented remarks on the opening ceremony, which is moderated by Prof. Yao Guojian from School of Law, CUPL.
The theme of this years' conference was Constitutional Protection of Right of Personality, included three sessions: the constitutional right of personality, constitutional protection of personal information, and constitutional protection of right of privacy.
During the discussion in each session, one scholar from China and another from Germany made a theme report,and then scholars from both sides exchanged opinions in terms of the report.
After the sessions, group discussions were held on the latest and most controversial issues of constitutional protection of right of personality. The scholars from both sides put forward their views and exchanged their experience based on actual practice in their home country .
