The College of Comparative held the Orientation for year 2013 entering students on 5 September. Secretary of the Party Branch & Associate Dean Wang Fang, Associate Dean Lin Lin, Xie Libin, college administration office representatives Liu Ming and Yang Mingquan and all postgraduate students attended it. Associate Dean Bao Zenghua chaired the seminar.
Dean Bao first gave a brief introduction to the orientation. Then Dean Lin introduced the regulations on college teaching, supervising and domestic and foreign exchange to the students.
Liu Ming further talked about modules choosing, training scheme and supervisor choosing, and answered questions from the students. Dean Wang later specifically gave a presentation on student affairs and the party affairs.
The entering students of 2013 had a close communication opportunity with the tutors during the interaction.
The Orientation Day was an successful end to the series of activities of welcoming which started from 2 September, including enrollment, class convened meeting, student accommodation visiting and opening ceremony.
