The Opening Ceremony was held on 4 September at the College of Comparative Law. The whole of faculty member and all of postgraduate students as well as foreign students attended this event. 72 new students from all over the country joined the college. Secretary of the Party Branch & Associate Dean Wang Fang moderated the meeting.
Dean Gao Xiang presented the welcome remarks. He introduced the general situation, organization and characteristics of the college.
Associate Prof. Feng Kai, as the representative of the teaching faculty, gave a presentation. She encouraged the entering students to master excellent law and foreign language skills.
On behalf of year 2 students and the new students, Shu Yu and Hao Yijia shared their thoughts.
The teaching faculty later did an individual self-introduction. The ceremony closed with an interaction session between students and lecturers.
For the year of 2013, the College of Comparative Law enrolled 4 doctorate students and 57 master students, among the latter 37 students will be studying at Sino-German Institute of Law and other 20 are Sino-American Institute of Law students. Apart from that, 10 German students and 1 American students entered the college.
