The editorial office of Journal of Comparative Law held the Spring Festival informal discussion meeting on Xueyuanlu campus on the afternoon of Jan 17, 2013. Tenured Professor Chen Guangzhong, former editor-in-chief and deputy editors Dong Fanyu, Lian Xisheng. He Weifang, Gao Hongjun, Shu Guoying, Zhang Sheng and current editorial board members Yao Xinhua, Song Yinghui and Xuan Zengyi attended the meeting.

Gao Xiang, dean of College of Comparative Law as well as the editor-in-chief, chaired the meeting and introduced the current situation of the journal. He reported the measures taken for enhancing the quality of publication, including fully utilize the professionalism of the editors, expand the resource of articles, build up online collecting and editing system, higher the working efficiency and so forth.

The former editors discussed and provided the editorials with advices on journal's academic positioning and publishing taste.
