The Symposium on the Development of Law Subject: A Comparative Law Prospective, hosted by the Beijing Comparative Law Society, organized by the College of Comparative Law and co-organized by the Beijing Society of Entertainment Law, was held on the afternoon of 16 Dec, 2017. Dean of the College Prof. Gao Xiang, Prof. Liu Chengwei, A/Prof. Li Xiaohui, A/Prof. He Qihao and Dr. Yan Jingjing attended the whole course of the symposium.

Executive Vice-President of Beijing Law Society Du Shiping, Director of its Research Department Wang Xiuhai, Director of Connection Department Zhou Yuanqing and Deputy Director of Applied Law Center Bai Guixiu attended the meeting.

Over 30 experts and scholars from the Beijing Law Society, China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing University of Foreign Studies, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Leen Law Firm, Tiantai Law Firm, Qing Law and Partners. Yingke Law Firm, Alibaba, Tencent, Sohu, EasyNet, ChineseAll and JZ Securities participated in the meeting.

Secretary-General of Beijing Comparative Law Society, Vice-President of Beijing Society of Entertainment Law, Director of the China-America Institute of Law of the College Prof. Liu Chengwei moderated the meeting. President of the Beijing Comparative Law Society Dean Prof. Gao Xiang, Prof. Du Shiping and Director of Disciplines Construction Department Prof. Xie Zhiyong presented the opening remarks.

The symposium consisted two sessions the Seminar on the Development of Edge-cutting Law Subject and the Salon on Entertainment Law.
