Dean of Charles Darwin University Law School visits CCL

Dean of Law School of Charles Darwin University Prof. Ned Aughterson visited the College of Comparative Law on the afternoon of 20 June, 2016.

Dean of the College Prof. Gao Xiang met with Prof. Ned Aughterson on Xuyuanlu Campus. Associate Dean of the College Prof. Lin Lin, Dean of Sydney City Law School & Honourary Professor of CUPL Prof. E Eugene Clark and Coordinator of College International Affairs Miss. Li Li attended themeeting.

Dean Gao Xiang extended the warmest welcome to Dean Ned Aughterson on behalf of the College. Gao said that the Chinese Law Program as the very first cooperative program between the two schools has received approval and support from our university. It is carrying out well. Gao wished that this program could be settled as a long-term collaboration and gains better effect. Dean Ned Aughterson then extended his gratitude to the College faculty who has put much effort in preparatory and promotion work for this program.

Associate Dean Lin Lin put forward a number of suggestions on how to expand and deepen the cooperation. Then, the two parties discussed on the issues of summer program, exchange program and LL.M. program. They reached an initial agreement and laid afoundation for further cooperation.
