Professor E Eugene Clark of the College of Comparative Law has been selected to serve on the Law Council of Australia's Legal Education Committee. The committee held its first meeting on 5 December 2014. The role of the Committee is to offer advice and to make recommendations to the Law Council on various issues related to legal education, including: employment prospects for Australian law graduates both within Australia and internationally, recognition of Australian qualifications overseas and of overseas qualifications in Australia; technology and legal education; quality assurance; regulation of legal education in Australia; curriculum reform; and the identification and analysis of overseas trends in legal education.
