A/Prof. Wang Chang was awarded China 100 Distinguished Alumni of the University of Minnesota on 16 Oct, 2014. President of the University Mr. Eric Kaler hosted the reception and presented the honour to the recipients.

China 100 is a yearlong celebration honoring the first students from China and the wealth of connections that have comesince. This celebration honors the past and takes a look forward at the engagement between the University of Minnesota and China. The first Chinese students enrolled at the University in 1914. Today, the University hosts more than 2,200 students and scholars from China each year.
