Wang Zhihua teaches Chinese law to St Petersburg University students in Russia

At the invitation of the Faculty of Law of St Petersburg University, Professor Wang Zhihua, from the China-Russia Law Institute of the College, went to Russia to teach the Chinese Civil Code and Chinese Civil Law Module in Russian for its undergraduate programme In-depth Study of Chinese Language and Chinese Law from 23 to 26 April, 2024.



Since the spring term of 2021, Wang has been teaching Chinese law to the students of the faculty for four consecutive years. He also conducted seminars on hot legal issues with Russian students, and his lectures were highly praised by the faculty and students of the university. It has promoted the international communication of the rule of law in China and increased the exchanges between the legal communities of China and Russia.





St Petersburg State University, founded in the 1724, is the first university in Russian history and an important centre for scientific research and education. Its Faculty of Law was one of the first three to be established.
